Expounding on the previous episode looking into what what does it mean to Railroad and extending that out to what does it mean to not Railroad

Looking at what really is being railroaded in a ttrpg what does it mean to Railroad the players and well I don't quite get to it in this episode looking at maybe ways to avoid it and what to look for.

I'm exploring the idea of a linear story with Islands or stations where the players essentially can get off the train and explore the space around them giving a sense of Liberty and latitude to their actions

Thinking about how a smaller play Space as in a limited size world can make the game more engaging

Playing in a sandbox with no plot can be fun for the players and easy on the game master.

Looking at railroading vs taking player agency. How railroading can be used to tell a compelling story if expectations are communicated well.

A brief explanation of how I got started the mistakes I made and what I would change next time and how I plan to make those changes in the future.

Explaining my process of getting into TTRPGs.

(part 1) What is the truth? Are my preconceptions blocking my ability to understand biblical truth? Am I willing to look at branching or opposing views to test my conception and understanding of truth? I use the concept of "the siren song of certainty" to bring to light our tendency to resist any differing views. I challenge that idea,and instead postulate that we should test and prove our understanding of truth by testing differing views against what we know. And being willing to be corrected. Rather than being willingly wrong just because it's what we "know". I use evolution vs creation and relativity vs electric universe as examples.
