We're never far from a 2000s horror remake on this show, and this one has it all: mega-celebrities in relatively minor roles, one of the guys from Supernatural, a literal house of wax, and getting stuck in traffic. Also, Corey sounds insanely ill because he actively has COVID-19 in this episode, and would not know that until after this recording.

We break immediately in this episode, channeling a very bit-focused energy that feels reminiscent of the all-time iconic "Now where could my pipe be?" monologue from the geniuses over at Lasagna Cat. Given our track record this episode really was an inevitability, though surprisingly enough it's one of only a handful of made for TV movies we've gotten to. Time to see how the smaller screen treats this classic tale, and us.

As is tradition, it turns out this largely forgotten mid-00s horror remake looms large in the upbringing of a majority of the podcast. The film itself -- and its cast and crew -- led to some... formative moments (some involving pocket knives and PSPs, you'll see), and with pedigree like that, there's always the opportunity we get swept off our feet TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSCARE: THE NEXT GENERATION style, or, uh, horribly underwhelmed.
