Identity is something that I think we all subconsciously know is important, but we're not totally sure why. A wise man, aka rapper Beleaf, once said; "You have to know who you are otherwise they'll tell you who you are." This something that has happened to me! In today's conversation I'm sharing some of my personal struggles with identity and why I think it's so important to understand who you are. 

I'm back!! It's been way too long since I've talked with you guys! For today's episode, we're catching up and I'm sharing some life lessons with you as I reflect on 19 things that I have learned at age 19.

This last week was a roller coaster, to say the least. Times like these it seems like there's a million little thoughts running around and I just need to get them all out into the open. But in today's conversation we talk about continuing to move forward and keeping your emotions in check, despite their protests. 

Maybe it's just me, but I want to do everything all the time. I want to learn every skill possible and help every person I see. Essentially I want to be all things to all people. But after some reflecting this week, I've learned that isn't a healthy mindset to have and there's a much better way to live.

Insecurity is something that we all deal with from time to time. Unfortunately this has been something on my mind pretty heavily these last few weeks, but after some time to think, I've found some ways to combat those thoughts. In today's conversation I'm telling you guys some truths that I've learned when it comes to insecurity and how to change your perspective when negative thoughts come. 

I have a very special guest with me this week! One of my closest (and oldest) friends, Grace Cram! Grace and I talk about how we've changed our definition of friendship and what we've learned through long distance friendships like ours. We also talk about the different types of people that we've had in our own lives and what we wish our younger selves would have known. 

This last week had me feeling scatterbrained! My thoughts were all over the place but thankfully, after a while I was able to gather them and bring myself back down to earth. In today's episode, I want to share with you guys how I put my mind back into a good headspace and stay grounded.
