I had a very informative conversation with Amy Forsythe who served nearly 18 years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Combat Correspondent and currently serving in the U.S. Navy Reserve since 2010 as a Public Affairs Officer with multiple deployments, including two deployments to Iraq and three to Afghanistan. After saluting her as a Veteran, I barraged her with questions that she patiently answered. Among the questions:
How will the recent events in Afghanistan effect America's standing in the world?

In this episode of "The Things I Think About Podcast," I have a very interesting conversation with Gary Revel. Who is that? Read on.
The deaths of JFK, his brother Bobby and the formidable, iconic, Martin Luther King Jr. are open-and-shut cases, right? Lee Harvey Oswald, Sirhan Sirhan and James Earl Ray did it … right?
"Not so!" writes acclaimed author Gary Revel in his new book, To Live or Maybe Not, and theme song, “They Slew the Dreamer,” adding that his work is “historically accurate, and an often edge of your seat, first-person, up-close account that sets the record straight.”
Revel offers a behind the scenes look at the dramatic yet terrifying walls of the infamous Brushy Mountain Prison of East Tennessee, where he walked and talked with the much written about (“alleged”) assassin of Martin Luther King Jr., James Earl Ray.

I had the absolute pleasure today of talking with a young and up and coming conservative leader today - Token Black Guy. With humor, wit and a touch of snark, he made my chat with him intriguing and a joy to participate in. For the most part, we discussed the fall of Afghanistan, the failure of leadership from the White House and the long-term consequences of America last policies. Tune in to hear a future leader with an infectious and patriotic passion for the future of America.

Derek O'Shea and I were looking at the landscape of neoliberalism and wondering to ourselves, "What is going on?!" After evaluating recent news stories involving racism, conservative persecution, critical race theory and liberal hypocrisy, we decided to blame the school system. We also blamed the media. Actually, we blame the media for a lot of it. However, our focus tended to hover around the school system and what kids are learning and the real-life consequences of indoctrination of cultural marxism. I'm so glad I do not have any kids in public school these days! Tune in to hear a long chat that will make you think, especially if you have children in grade school and you worry about their future in America.

Census data suggests that in the near future, whites will no longer be the American majority. In this episode, Jim Stroud speculates the significance of this development with podcast guest - Donald Wayne. The conversation flows effortlessly as the modern culture is dissected and debated on several fronts. Among them: the alarming increase of anti-white racism, black appeals for segregation and (ironically) defending America as a non-racist country. The conversation later shifts to address medical tyranny, the dissolution of academic standards, Universal Basic Income, the nobility of work and everything else I forgot to mention.
The chat could have been had on a country porch, in the cool of the day with beers in hand. It was that kind of vibe and I liked it. I think you will too. Tune in to see what I mean.
