Join the cousins as we explore 'Amazing Animals'. Starting off strong, we have the Amazing Pelorus Jack, a dolphin who guided ships through the treacherous French Pass. Then, we explore the sad and inspiring tale of Tahlequah, the Orca mother who mourned her children in a way never before seen by the species. Lastly, the group learns about various ancient animal epitaphs left by their loving owners.

This episode of Tiltta explores the extraordinary life of Violet Constance Jessop, who experienced some of the most notable maritime disasters of the early 20th century. Her position as a stewardess on ocean liners led to her experiences of turmoil on the RMS Olympic, the Titanic and HMHS Britannic . 

Violet emerged as a symbol of bravery, later serving as a nurse in World War II and earning her the title "Queen of Sinking Ships." Violet retired to a quiet life on a farm in Southampton and passed away peacefully at the age of 83.

Movie recommendation: Straight Outta Compton (2015). Directed by F. Gary Gray

Movie recommendation: Killers of the Flower Moon (2023)
