Distrust takes away our hope and keeps us from finding fulfillment in our lives. When our hearts have been broken and trust has been lost, we retreat into isolation to protect ourselves. Over time, our hearts harden as we harbor bitterness and resentment deep within us. No matter who or what broke our trust, we can learn to trust again by letting go of our past.
