Publisher's Summary:
Sheila O'Flanagan's enthralling best seller Things We Never Say is a must-listen for fans of Marian Keyes and Veronica Henry.
The things we never say:
A daughter doesn't say how she feels about the past....
A husband is afraid to say that selling the house his wife loves is the only option....
A woman hasn't said that even though they live thousands of miles apart, this man is always on her mind....
If those things were said, the results could be life-changing. As Abbey - and a whole family she knew nothing of - are about to find out in this warm-hearted, thought-provoking and touching novel.

Unusual and thought provoking
Really enjoyed this unusual story about a charismatic girl whose previous life was pretty unenviable in it's awfullness but who managed to endear herself to everyone who met her. Cleverly told I was well into it before I realised what the theme was going to be which was an intriguing approach. Many twists and turns, some more believable than others and the main character was pretty pathetic but in a way this made her more human which was why I resisted the urge to give her a slap. I would love to have seen the "bad guy" get his come uppance but again, it was more true to life that he didn't, no getting away from reality but fictionally speaking I think a lot of readers would have been happy if something awful happened to him.. A good read from a talented author whose books rarely disappoint.
Another little miracle from Sheila
I love reading Sheila's books. They are always well written, thoroughly satisfying and have good depth. This brings out the dilemmas around keeping secrets. I love the complexity of characters and their resolutions.
A great holiay read!
Found at points I could not put it down.Very entertaining and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice, happy read.
Excellent !
One of the best and heart warming stories of 2013! I couldn't put down the book! I liked the subtle spiritual twist as well.
ANOTHER HIT! FOR SHELIA O'FLANAGAN
I love Shelia's books. I find her books give you some background about Ireland itself and although each book ends in romance - the story lines are always intriguing and you can envision yourself in the story.
I have no dislikes about her novels - I find them very well rounded and they give me a great place to "escape" from the stress of every day "real life"
KUDO Shelia - for another great novel! ~ Deb
