从前慢

《从前慢》是木心先生创作的一首诗歌，被收录在《云雀叫了一整天》里。2011年底，木心先生去世。《从前慢》开始被人传颂，从贴吧、微博到微信朋友圈，这首诗被当成了情诗，广为流传。

至于这首诗具体创作于何时，暂时无法考证，出书的时候，是从一堆手稿里选出来的，上面也没有标明时间。

I Remember the old days in my youth

People were sincere and honest.

They honored what they said.

记得早先少年时

大家诚诚恳恳

说一句 是一句

Early morning in the railway station,

While the long street was still dark and empty,

Steam curled up from the soybean milk store.

清早上火车站

长街黑暗无行人

卖豆浆的小店冒着热气

Sunset were slow in the past.

Carriages, horses, and mails are all slow.

A lifetime is only long enough to love one person.

从前的日色变得慢

车，马，邮件都慢

一生只够爱一个人
