Every so often, my husband will mute the volume on a show we are watching to see if we can figure out the story line based solely on the actions of the actors. It’s interesting when we do this because it causes us to pay more attention to what is being done rather than rely on what the people are saying. The Bible has many passages concerning our conduct as Christians and what type of behavior should be a part of our daily Christian life. The Bible says in Matthew 7: 16-20: “16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.
