  • Ariel School UFO Landing - Zimbabwe, 1994
There are many UFO sightings that involve large groups of witnesses. Interestingly, however, even where there is a consensus on a few core claims, witnesses don't always agree on some of the most important details of the story. The 60-some children that witnessed a UFO event in 1994 all saw things a little differently, in a way that highlights just how bizarre the phenomenon can be.

  • Jackie Hernandez Poltergeist Case, 1989 - 1990
For two years, Jackie Hernandez was tormented by a variety of anomalous activity that persisted after two moves, and attached itself to those she knew. Also known as the San Pedro Haunting, her case is remarkable for the sheer number of anomalous events, but it's also an interesting case study in the blurred lines between hauntings and poltergeists.

  • Hudson Valley UFO Sightings, 1982 - 1986
While many UFO sightings may appear to be random, isolated events, others are actually quite patterned - almost predictable. The Hudson Valley sightings came in waves, frequently recurring in the same few areas north of New York City. After years of sightings, it became clear that these sightings followed a few strange, but discernible patterns that seem to suggest that there is some logic to the UFO phenomenon.

  • Harriet Tubman - Psychic, Seer
Harriet Tubman is well known for her daring rescues of black slaves in the Eastern United States, but less well known are the remarkable abilities that she possessed that made these rescues possible. A review of the many anomalous events in Tubman's life suggests that she may have mastered the same psi abilities as psychics and remote viewers today, even without training.

  • Kelly Hopkinsville Encounter, The Goblin "Invasion" of 1955
There is a pervasive stereotype that only hillbillies from the southern United States see UFOs and aliens - or "Little Green Men." While this stereotype is patently false, it was not created out of thin air. Rather, the association between uneducated southerners and UFO landings, as well as the popularity of the term "Little Green Men," both come from a highly influential case from rural Kentucky in 1955.

  • UFOs over Nuremberg, 1561
Ever wonder where the banner image on our website and social media pages comes from? It's a composite image based mostly from a 16th-century woodcut depicting a UFO sighting over Nuremberg, in modern-day Germany. As well as producing a captivating illustration, the sighting is a good example of an early-modern "wonder-sign," long before the term UFO ever entered the lexicon, and before anyone suspected extraterrestrial culprits.
