IF YOU'RE NOT GIVING, YOU'RE TAKING - What does that mean? The reality is that there is no neutral ground, there is no time where we can get complacent and lazy and not be thinking about how we are contributing to our relationships and giving to our loved ones, our friends, our community, and our culture. It means that our very existence inside of that relationship takes from the other person and people, so we must always be thinking of the other and giving to them.  When we do that, we will thrive. But when we as people get selfish or lazy, or even just disconnect from the reality of it and don't actively and consciously give, it must be acknowledged that we are still TAKING from others and what is around you - and when we take accountability and own that reality, we can begin to heal and flourish.
