The purpose of vaccination is to improve our health and well being by preventing disease. The ‘pro-life premise is already assumed when we discuss vaccination – at least it should be. However, there are questions about efficacy, adverse reactions, and indeed the underlying principles of the strategy that the mainstream narrative will not address. This brings into question the pro-life premise with which we all claim to enter the debate.

The vaccination issue is a choice that balances risk against benefit. So if we close our eyes to either one of these we cannot make a good rational decision. The mainstream debate does exactly this, it takes a lop-sided view of only half of the picture. It focuses on the benefits and virtually ignores the risks.

If we avoid analysing all the facts and weighing up the pros and cons in the light of the full context, we cannot arrive at a good decision because we cannot know the truth. Then, all we have left to base a decision on is our emotional reaction. It is essential to appropriately put our emotional responses to one side so we can explore the risks and the benefits even handedly and honestly and proceed to finding a rational answer.

Vaccination – The full Context

If we examine the full context of the vaccination debate we see that there are other strong arguments for building up immune system strength and resilience to disease by means other than vaccination. There is competition that needs to be considered. We now know that human health is based upon our microbiome. We need diversity and sufficient numbers of microbes of all kinds in the gut and a functional communication system in the form of REDOX molecules. Then the immune system can then ensure the integrity of the epithelial membrane and be sure of ‘who is friend and who is foe’.

The issue of conferring lifelong immunity is another key part of the puzzle that draws a question mark over vaccination that does not provide it.  Addressing whether or not a particular disease is generally life-threatening is another important part of the context as well as the overall levels of nutrition and sanitation.

The ever-growing list of vaccines on the childhood schedule is another cause for concern that is readily dismissed by the medical fraternity and the pro-vaccine mainstream/establishment view.

Stephanie Seneff on Vaccination

This week it is a great pleasure to welcome back Dr Stephanie Seneff of MIT in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. She joins me to discuss the whole vaccination issue from her perspective of having studied the issue for many years. She got interested in the issue because of the growing alleged link between Autism and the MMR vaccine.

Dr Andrew Wakefiled flagged this link 2 decades ago and was shot down in flames by the mainstream media for doing so. It seems that anyone who dares to question the efficacy of vaccination or who mentions any likely link between vaccination and adverse health effects becomes a public enemy of the establishment and the mainstream media.
