"Anj:
I saw a little spark in Brit. And I actually remember saying to Dave, like, I want to hang out with that girl that we met, I wished all the dudes would talk a little bit less at this dinner so that I could get to know her a little better.
Brit:
There was the love at first sight thing that we saw in each other. But I loved that she also seemed like a curious person who was scrappy learning how to do things. And so that was the start of our beautiful friendship and professional relationship."
SNP Co-founder Maureen Taylor talks to Brit Morin and Anj Temple, co-founders of Brit + Co, a digital media company with online classes and products that seek to inspire and educate women. "I'm bored if there's not a problem, which is why running a company is, you know, amazing slash heart wrenching. And it's why I say to the team all the time, it's, you know, don't expect there not to be a problem on the other side of this one. Cause there will be, it's just a different one. Um, and the fun is how are we going to solve it?"

"I was everybody's emergency contact in college. I had friends who I was the easiest person to put down as their emergency contact because their parents were in other States or didn't speak English that well. And so I would usually find out after the fact, they're like, 'Oh, I went skydiving and I put you down as the emergency contact.' I was like, thanks?!"

"Does virtual connection actually make us crave physical connection more? Yes, without a doubt. I, for one, am very much looking forward to being able to hug people and kiss people again when the future, you know, when, when that's safe to do.
