*It was a Sunday night.  Jesus' disciples were in a meeting behind locked doors after Jesus had been crucified.  They were afraid for their own lives. Jesus made a stunning appearance.  Everything shifted when their eyes were opened to the living presence of Christ.  Fear shifted to joy.

Jesus issued peace to be with them.  And, then, repeated the statement,  a word of healing--a wellness--that begins with the soul.    Peace is a crucial element of the with-God life to receive and give.
