  • Life is worthwhile when you just Smile.

Look at your situation. If life is hard and it's been tough on you.. I'm glad to tell you that there is hope. Reach out to God and He will save you from what ever situation you are. Believe me, I've been there. But God has given me many many restarts.

    Smile
Chaplin, who composed the song, with the help of composer David Raksin was inspired by a sequence in the first act love duet from Puccini's opera Tosca, beginning with Cavaradossi singing "Quale occhio al mondo può star di paro".[1] John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons added the lyrics and title in 1954.[2] In the lyrics, based on lines and themes from the film, the singer is telling the listener to cheer up and that there is always a bright tomorrow, just as long as they smile.

March 23rd 2024 is our 33rd Anniversary. How crazy can a woman be to marry me? That's a true statement. We are in this life as partners, lovers, and friends until death. 33 years through good and bad rich and poor, health and sickness. One thing I know.. the best decision of our life was " As for me and my house hold I will serve the Lord".

Recorded and released in 1975, the album produced four U.S. Top 40 hits: "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover" (No. 1), "Gone at Last" (No. 23, credited to Paul Simon/Phoebe Snow), "My Little Town" (No. 9, credited to Simon & Garfunkel), and the title track (No. 40). It won two Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance in 1976.

"My Little Town" reunited Simon with former partner Art Garfunkel on record for the first time since 1970, while "Gone at Last" was a duet between Simon and Phoebe Snow. Two tracks featured members of the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section as a backing band.

  • My Favorite Things.

    Send us Fan Mail

What do you consider valuable in life? Family, Car, Gold, Silver, Money?? God, Religion, Faith.. so many things that comes to mind. On this episode I try to put in perspective the curve balls life trough at us. Frustrations, and disappointments. Why are parents training their kids wrongly by not given their kids limits and consequences from what ever rule was given. No means NO and yes means YES.. Simple but profound, biblical. "may your NO be NO and Yes be YES or face the consequence of your disobedience.

"My Favorite Things" is a song from the 1959 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The Sound of Music.

In the original Broadway production, this song was introduced by Mary Martin playing Maria and Patricia Neway playing Mother Abbess. Julie Andrews, who played Maria in the 1965 film versionof the musical, had previously sung it on the 1961 Christmas special for The Garry Moore Show. Although the song does not explicitly refer to the Christmas season, the list of favorite things includes sleigh bells, snowflakes and silver white winters. The song has become a holiday favorite, especially on radio, ever since.

  • Thanks Giving. What to celebrate??

    Send us Fan Mail

We are in an extremely weird season. How can we be thankful with all the things that are going on right now? God is still in control and He wants our hearts to be joyful, celebrating every victory and loss.
The song for this episode is "Nao Tenhas Sobre ti" or Don't take over you and regret or trouble.. This is God's job and our job is to trust in Him.

We are living in this NOT VERY PEACEFUL world right now but we need to trust that God is in control of Avery thing at all times. How can we leave in peace with a world full of wars and conflict. How can we live in peace with our families, husbands and wife, Brothers and Sisters. Neighbors fighting for their space. Churches fighting against churches. Only Jesus can provide The Peace that surpasses our knowledge.
The song I chose is called A Paz by Gilberto Gil, a Brazilian composer that I just love.
