Episode 26 brings us another interview. Nick takes over hosting duties solo for this one and interviews Tanner Abbas. Tanner grew up in neighboring Clarion, and worked himself into a decorated amateur wrestler. They discuss how he got started to how he chose his college path. Throughout you the grit and determination that it takes to survive and thrive in the wrestling world.
Episode#25 brings us another interview. Our guest today has traveled a path that many have before. He became a teacher. He became an educator. However, the twists and turns, the roadblocks, and dead-ends he met along the way make his journey unique. What is the point of our education system? How do teachers define their grading scales? What is a point really worth? Are kids actually learning anything? Adam asked questions and challenged their system. The system pushed back. Today we have our former classmate Alyssa on the podcast. Alyssa shares the long winding road that led to her wonderful family. We discuss what its like living in another country, and learning a new culture. Since his parents were missionaries we also dive into religion. What impact did religion have on him growing up, and what impact does it have on him now? Jason is also the third member of Waiting For The Punchline. The retired band from Nick's glory days. Nick and Jason discuss their music, and we find out the band has a still active youtube page!
