Today, a very special guest, but first....Most stocks are generally classified as either value stocks or growth stocks. Generally speaking, stocks that trade for valuations below the Price to Earnings ratio of the S&P 500 are considered value stocks, while stocks that outperform the S & P in terms of sheer growth rates are considered growth stocks. Some stocks meet both requirements. We'll talk about several of them today and why analysts at JP Morgan are projecting a big swing to value and dividend stocks as the economy slowly works its way back to normal in 2021.  If you want to think ahead of the crowd, you don't want to miss today's show....MASTERING MONEY is on the air!!!

Winning in retirement, at least financially, is a matter of priorities. Some folks want to double their money, regardless of the risk. They think “TALL” with their money. Others want to leave more for heirs. TheY also think “TALL” with their money.  But a new type of retiree has emerged in recent years. They don’t seek untold wealth or making their kids rich, as much as they seek true  financial independence for the rest of their lives. They want their “in-COME”  to exceed their  “out-GO” for as long as they live. That makes retiring on today's bonds an impossibility. With ten year treasury's yielding less than one percent, a new type of safe retirement asset  paying significantly more income is needed. As a result of  advanced annuity engineering the past five years , a  NEXT GENERATION retirement annuity has emerged paying higher income with a high degree of safety. In addition it and may benefit from market increases with no market losses and no cap. Today on Mastering Money, a very special guest joins us.  But first.....Very few investors would consider basing their entire life savings around owning just one stock. The reason is obvious. Even with the best company on the planet, times change, things go wrong, competitors emerge and the stock price can fall.   At first glance, some investors believe diversification simply means SPREADING your risk. But is that really all there is to it? If all it took to be successful was to own lots of different stocks, without regard to WHY you own each and every one of them, then there would be no losers on Wall Street.   Everybody would win every day, and all the time. Because we know there are more losers than winners on Wall Street, it is important to truly diversify your portfolio in the smartest way possible--and according to your age.   A power packed show you don't want to miss, MASTERING MONEY is on the air!!!

It seems everyone wants to do a Roth conversion—until it’s actually time to write checks to the IRS!  Roth conversions sound appealing, but they don’t always make sense-- according to many CPAs-- especially the closer you get to age 70.   That said,  a Roth conversion can be a powerful tax planning technique. The idea behind most Roth conversions is to take money from a substantial IRA account, and convert it systematically to a Roth IRA, getting rid of taxes permanently on that money.   The Tax Cut and Jobs Act lowered taxes, creating a Roth conversion strategy known as "filling the middle brackets."  We'll review that strategy, as well as the perfectly legal "Back-Door-Roth" strategy. Then Medicare expert Shelley Grandidge joins us for the Q & A.  A fact-filled show for you today that you surely don't want to miss...... MASTERING MONEY is on the air!!!
