House of Commons sat late into last evening, but DID pass the Liberal government’s proposed GST break on some key items - starts December 14/ends February 15. 176-151 the legislation passed…in essence it was the Liberals & NDP combining, as often has been the case – the Conservatives & Bloc Quebecois voted against the deal…

2. This feels TOO easy but Poilievre has hammered Trudeau for disappearing re: the border tariffs question & he's praising the Premiers (yes, even Doug Ford!) for the work they're doing - fair criticism based on the week you've seen? Does all this work benefit Ford politically? There's SOME "incumbent anger" in the province....but must be frustrating for Bonnie Crombie & Marit Stiles to watch Doug get flowers, yes?
