🧠 Thinkin’ Bros Podcast is hosted by intellectual phenomena Alex and Chris. We make psychology and philosophy accessible through informal discussions and try to find ways to use these disciplines to enhance our everyday lives.
👉 We begin by discussing Plato's Allegory of the Cave, found in Book VII of The Republic. The discussion of the allegory has been a long time coming, and it certainly confirms some intuitions we have about education. It will also serve as a future model for contrasting "the enlightened" and those "living in the world of shadows".
👉 In the main segment, we discuss Chapter 26 of William James' Principles of Psychology. After teasing his proficiency in writing for a few episodes, we finally decided to follow through on Chris' "fanboyism" of James, and read a chapter relevant to, once again, Chris' apparent disability: memory.
