Award-winning editor Joe Corallo joins Wes to talk about the history of X-Men villain Apocalypse and what with wrong with the character. When Lousie Simonson and Louise Simonson (writer) Jackson Guice (artist) introduced Apocalypse in the pages of X-Factor he immediately became the biggest threat the X-Men franchise ever faced. He was later revealed to be the first mutant in the Marvel Comics Universe. Throughout the years Apocalypse has sought to further survival of the fittest, with mutants being the supreme being. Along the way X-Men creators took some of the bite out of the character and his motivations. Since Jonathan Hickman took over X-Men it’s revealed Apocalypse simply misses his wife and children who are stuck beyond the Krakoa-Arako breach. He’s trying to raise an army strong enough to return his family. Simply put, he’s become Dadpocalypse….a far cry from the original greatest threat in X-Men history. Wes and Joe Corallo join forces to save Apocalypse and return the most powerful villain in X-Men history!
