Tonight's show is going to be EPIC. We are calling it "THE HEAT SHOW" because we got two new BANGING singles from CHH Artist Ty Scott King - "No Rewind" and Producer, Musician & CHH Artist Sonny Knight; who is also the husband of Ty Scott King. Sonny has a new single called "On the Way"  and we are going to be debuting his single during tonight's show.  In addition, to playing both of these new singles, we are also going to be sharing with you a recent interview we had with Sonny Knight, and we discuss his music career in CHH, who some of his favorite CHH Artists are, what's it like working with his wife-Ty, and a lot more. 

PLUS, we got a few surprises in store tonight as well, as well as a very interesting and thought-provoking "Thought of the Week" in store for you called "The Four Wives." Tonight we continue wit our discussion of the topic of Educating Today's Youth During A Pandemic with special guests, Principal of Renaissance Highschool, Verynda Stroughter and Principal of Mumford Highschool, Damian Perry. PT. 2 focuses on more on long term impacts of this pandemic on the educational system in our country, and how technology is going to play a major role in this transition moving forward. When things return to some normalcy, will we see some continuation of virtual learning in some way or shape or form, or will be return to in-person leering full-time. These and many other questions will be addressed as we conclude tonight's discussion with the these distinguished educators. 

PLUS, we have another dynamic Thought of the Week specifically geared towards the theme for tonight's show. More specifically, another excerpt from our latest book Vision, offering a message of empowerment and guidance to the youth of this generation. Verynda Stroughter, Principal of Renaissance Higschool, and Damian Perry, Principal of Mumford Highschool joins us tonight to share their thoughts on this transition to a virtual learning environment for millions of young people in this country, and what are the advantages and disadvantages to this learning model, especially in Urban America. They share their feelings about this COVID-19 crisis and how it has impacted every aspect of American life. This is just part 1 of a two part discussion that we had with these two leaders in education.  This is defiintely a discussion that you don't want to miss.

This non-profit is doing some great things during this global pandemic, helping to feed the families in need right here in the State of Michigan. We are sharing with you an interview we had with Kirk several years ago when our show was just starting and we thought the Thanksgiving holiday would be great time to share it again. 

Also, we have a debuting a very special song, all the way from Cape Town, South Africa from Artist Ronnie Blacks. The song is called "Jersusalema" and it talks about hope and love, and a place of existence far beyond this world. This is powerful song that we thought it would be great to share during this holiday season. Tonight's show we are calling it the Power To The People Edition, because the people literally took their power back in this November's Election and demanded a change in Washington D.C. Over 180 Million people voted either in-person or absentee; which is more than any other Presidential Election in U.S. History. The people used their collective voices at the ballot to send a direct message to Washington that your time is up. And, we plan to discuss this in great detail during tonight's show, as well as the historic election of the 46th President of the United States-President-Elect Joe Biden, and Vice-President Elect Kamala Harris. The Democratic Party delivered yet another historic Presidential Ticket that brought our nation a little closer to that perfect union that our founders were talking about in the Constitution. We plan to celebrate not just this winning Presidential Ticket, but also the millions of Americans that voted as well as worked the polls on Election Day.

We are just 7 days away from arguably thee most important election of our generation, and we are excited to share with you an interview we had with the first African American Mayor of Eastpointe,MI, the Honorable Monique Owens. This was an interview we had with her back in Nov of 2019 when she was first elected to this historic position in Eastpointe. We decided to share this interview duroing tonight's show, because she has such an inspirational and empowering story. Monique literally became the change that she wanted to see in the world, which is why her story is so inspirational. Instead of complaining and criticizing the poltical process, she decided to get involved and run for public office to become apart of the solution instead of being apart of the problem. This is powerful success story that we cannot wait to share. 

PLUS, we plan to relive another very historic moment in our nation's history. Tonight we plan to share excerpts from the historic victory speech of the 44th President of the United States of America; Barack Obama. Relive this extraordinary moment in American History as we remember the election of our nation's first African American President. Just more proof of what can happen When We All Vote. From the President's Antics to the Laker's winning the NBA Championship, and we plan to discuss it all. Should I drop my ballot in the mail, drop it off at the Local City Clerk's Office or should i just vote in person; all important questions we plan to answer during tonight's show. 

PLUS, we plan to dedicate the entire show to the life, and the legacy of one of the Spiritual Patriarchs of the City of Detroit, Bishop David L. Ellis. This Spiritual Giant made his transition back in March of 1996, and we recently commemorated his birthday on Oct 3rd. If he were alive today he would be 85yrs old. Tonight's Thought of The Week, we share an excerpt of one of his annoited and powerful messages. This is definitely a show you don't want to miss!

Tonight we are blessed and honored to chat with a extraordinarily talented young lady, who is a Rapper, Producer, Singer, Writer and Actress; Telly Hampton. But, if you thought that was enough, there is more...Telly Hampton is also the granddaughter of Legendary Soulful Singer Sam Cooke. We were literally blown away when we found this out and this definitely made talking with her so much more special. During tonight's interview not only do we talk about the life and legacy of Sam Cooke, but we pay tribute to him by playing one of my favorite songs. I won't telll you what it is, you'll just have to listen to the show to find out. In addition, to talking about Sam Cooke, we also talk about Telly's musical career that is still in bloom. She recently released her latest single enttield "Kingdom" which we will be playing during tonight's show as well. We had a great conversation about her life, her family and her music, so be sure to tune in to hear the entire interview.
