  • Thinking Out Loud Radio Show When We Will All Vote Live Edition - Recap
Join us for a recap of the When We All Vote Couch Party 2.0 as we share with you an interview from Deputy Director of Training Reuben Washington and Training Specialist Jolynn Williams from the Dept of Elections. They work closely with the Detroit City Clerk; the Hon. Janice Winfrey and her staff as they train poll workers for the upcoming August & November Election. During their interview we discussed the significance of the November Election as well as an important event that took place at Cass Tech High School that the When We All Vote organization was directly apart of.
Tonight, we also discuss what is going with Gov. Brian Kemp and what he is doing to reopen businesses in the State of Georgia despite the push back he's receiving from the residents and other politicians and doctors who believe he is putting the citizens of the state in grave danger. In addition, we ask the question is this COVID-19 crisis a Republican or Democratic problem? Here lately is seems that the politics of the COVID-19 crisis is taking priority over the lives of the American people and this is very concerning.
And, we also share a laugh or two from a few things we came across via social media that we wanted to share during tonight's show. People are attempting to add some levity and laughter to this period of quarantine and it is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Plus, we have got a dynamic Thought of the Week from none other than the Bishop TD Jakes. This is definitely a show you don't want to miss!.

We believe that message of inspiration and hope are extremely important to share during this time of crisis. And, this message of resiliency is directly tied to our recent religious celebrations of Easter & Resurrection Sunday. We will rise up from the darkness and peril of this time period, because of our godly example Jesus Christ did indeed rise from the dead more than two thousand years ago. And, what He did yesterday, gives us all hope today that we too we'll rise again. Be sure to share this post on your social media platforms and help us get the word out about our show tonight.

  • "150"
In Aug 2017 we decided to do a show that would be thought-provoking, impactful and inspiring. A show that endeavors to motivate and encourage it's listeners to be more and do more than they ever thought they could. Today, 150 shows and 20,000 streams later I believe we have done exactly that. But, we are certainly not done. There is still alot more ground yet to cover and more things that we want to accomplish with this show. I am grateful for all of the support that we have garned from our listeners as well as the guests that we have been blessed to have on the show. It has truly been a remarkable journey.
Tonight, we plan to share excerpts from three interviews that help to really define what a show is all about; Empowerment, Civic Engagement & Activism. These are 3 pillars of our show that are very important to us, and are the driving force behind the Thinking Out Loud Radio Show. We also plan to share more about these three pillars through the excerpts of the interviews.  And, of course we have another dyamic Thought of the Week designed especially for the occassion as well. We're calling it the "Gift of Adversity" this is really a spiritual observation from being quarantined because of the COVID-19 virus.
