In this editiion of the Thinking Out Loud Radio show, in our Meet the Candidate's interview with State Rep. Sherry Gay-Dagnogo, where we will be talking poltics, voting, auto-insurance in Detroit and much more.

We also plan to talk about the latest news regarding the NFL Protests, Jerry Jones, as well as Washington Post article written by Karen Attiah, which deals with the real reasons why owner Jerry Jones said what he said regarding his players standing for the national anthem.

In this 2nd Meet the Candidate edition of the Thinking Out Loud Radio show we will be talking with Detroit City Clerk Janice Winfrey about her reelection bid, her accomplishments as City Clerk, as well as some struggles or obstacles she faced in this office. We will also be hearing her perspective on the importance of voting in this November election. 

In addition, to City Clerk Janice Winfrey's interview we will also be addressing the Question of the Week, do you still believe that voting is important? There is a real problem of voter apathy both locally, statewide and even nationally. How do we continue to keep people motivated to vote? We plan to answer this question along with many others in this edition of the Thinking Out Loud Radio Show.

We also plan to discuss some of the news event of this week and over the weekend related to ESPN's Suspension of Jemele HIll, Vice President Pence's NFL Stunt and another Michigan State Victory in the BIG HOUSE!

Young Jr. Listen in as he discusses the impact his father had on his decision to go into politics, and why he should be the next Mayor of the City of Detroit, In this interview Sen. Young also talks about his tenure in the State Legislature and the challenges he has faced as a young black senator representing the citizens of the City of Detroit.

The recent events involving Seahawks Defensive End Michael Bennett and his encounter with two Whie Police Officers in Las Vegas after the Floyd Mayweather Fight have drawn national attention. This is an ongoing discussion that we as a community of people need to have regarding this problem. And, there is room for blame on both sides.
