Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D

Hi everybody! Welcome to the podcast!

Please join us as we discuss the Sunday sermon at Coast Life Church.

We begin this week's podcast with some banter about some of the appointments that Donald Trump is planning to make as he prepares to take office and what those appointments might mean for us.

We then move on to a listener question about why God chooses to use bad people to do good things. We'll talk about those peculiar things you might see from someone who is a Christian, where sanctification comes from and whether evil in the world is trying to steal from God's playbook. Pastor-D will tell us how to see through what he calls a "sin haze," what real faith looks like and how God has multiplied his plans into things he never even dreamed of.

Finally, we'll talk about JD Vance's trek from growing up as a Protestant, leaving faith altogether, then coming back to faith through the Catholic Church.

Hi and welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor D!

Please join us as we discuss the Sunday sermon at Coast Life Church.

We begin with a recap of the election this past week. Pastor D shares his insight into what he thinks will happen for Christians as we move forward with a new POTUS. We'll then cover a couple listener questions about Peter and his denial of Jesus. Then we'll discuss David and his transgressions, Judas and his betrayal of Jesus and what to do if you are ever on the giving end of a betrayal.

Pastor D will also tell us about Donald Trump's affairs and whether he will pardon himself from all the trouble he's been in. He'll also serenade us with a song and encourage us to find people from our past whom we may have betrayed so that we can make up with them.

Happy Sunday everyone! Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor D!

We start with Pastor D's take on the government trying to take over the Church's role in everyone's lives. We'll discuss the government's monetary contribution and compare it to what the Christian Church provides. Then we discuss what it's like when people call the Church and ask for money. You won't believe what some of them say!

Pastor D will also tell us about the time his car got repossessed, what he thinks about the abortion debate and how to fall into someone else's wife.

Finally, Pastor-D will give us some pastor-ly advice about what to consider when approaching the voting booth on Tuesday.

Hello everyone! Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor D!

Please join us as we discuss Sunday's sermon at Coast Life Church.

We start with Pastor D's take on Cain's situation, the jealousy he harbored for Abel and how God tried to guide him through what would end up becoming the first ever documented murder. We'll find out when God decided to leave the Earth in a physical sense and why Cain thought he could hide sins from God. From there, we'll go into how we sometimes tend to treat God as second in our lives and what to do when we find ourselves doing so.

Additionally, Pastor D will tell us about how he's going to create a nativity scene with all the stuffed animals that he's now collecting. He'll also tell how he discovered our very own in-house archaeologist team and about a couple of times that God told him to sit down and shut up.

Finally, Pastor-D will give us some pastor-ly advice about what to consider when approaching the voting booth next week.

Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor D! Err...Doctor Anderson!

Please join us as we discuss Sunday's sermon about being Fans or Followers at Coast Life Church!

Dr. Ryan Anderson fills in this week for Pastor-D and tells us all about what it means to be a "fan" of Jesus or a "follower" of Jesus. We will get his thoughts on the biggest differences in the two and why we should strive to be one and not the other. Also, we'll talk about how to delight in your spouse and some of the things you might do to ensure you and your spouse are using Jesus as the rock on which a solid marriage is built. Finally, we'll conclude with tithing, how important it is and some strange coincidences (Dr. Anderson doesn't believe in them) that occurred after he started tithing properly.

Additionally, Dr. Anderson will give us his take on SEC football, conspiracy theories, the war on masculinity and more!!!

We will first delve into the different types of lies/untruths and discuss each one from a Christian's perspective. We'll identify where the problems are with little white lies and how those problems can come back to haunt you. Then we'll discuss how to deal with lies that other people tell us, including politicians.

Pastor D will also tell us about a lie he told his parents and held onto until adulthood, when he finally copped a plea with his dad.

Jesus once said that he was the way, the TRUTH, and the life. We'll talk about why truth is such an important part of that statement.
