Next week I am travelling to Chicago for an international conference and trade expo. This year a lot of my colleagues from Canada have decided not to go. I have been thinking about the current state of affairs and why I feel it is important for me to go.

This week I talk about me. I have had several of the followers ask me about who I am or to talk a bit about myself. So here it is, I hope you make it to the end. Growing up in Renfrew and my career is not the most fascinating topic but more than 10 people asked me so blame them....LOL

In this epsiode I cheer on the Canada's Baseball Team the Toronto Blue Jays and I feel the sense of Canadian Pride and think we need to have that same pride when we buy anything. Make mine Canadian please !!!

With all the tension and wild out bursts we as a humans need to be more respectful and tolerant of each others opinions. As well this week I have notice that the future is looking bright.

After a 7 month hiatus I am back with my podcast. This week my thoughts are on what is happening south of the border and what is happening right here in my own home town. I am thrilled to be back with another series of episodes.

It was an interesting couple of weeks. We faced a few challenges, some in the world some because of weather.

As we enter the week of the tariffs, we see that there’s already been a quick change relief for 30 days, which will probably turn into some negotiation where tariffs never get applied.

Being a leader is not easy being a good leader is even harder. History will decide who the good leaders were, but for now there are certain qualities that make a genuine, good leader.

After this week’s inauguration and the media spinning all the talk of tariffs on Canadian exports I have been thinking we are a great country.

After a two week break from social media that I thought would free up my time I have learned the power of social media and I just don’t manage my time well.
