Today we talked about why we have celebrations, what they mean and how we should act during them. Why is family and gathering important? What attitude and ideas should we bring with us to our holiday season?

Today we started out by reviewing our discussion on Sacrifice. We then wanted to talk about dreams but ultimately couldn't seem to figure out where to go with it. The conversation naturally evolved into us discussing why. Why is such an interesting question to ask and it seems to be ingrained in us.

Probably our most challenging episode to date. We talk about sacrifice, the idea of it, how it works, what it means. We go over several biblical stories involving sacrifice, Cain and Abel, Abraham and Issac, Joseph, Daniel, and Jesus.

We go back over intentions and how as finite beings are intentions are hard to judge. This leads into a discussion about Adam and Eve, animals and Gods intentions.

Today we go pretty deep into an analogy about God being a consuming fire and where our place is in the universe. How we should look at other people and their place in the universe.

We work our way right down to the core of Christianity in this one. We go over the arguments for and against us just being programed by God to do what we do. We discuss what innocence truly is. The end point we talk about man's sinful nature.

We covered a lot of ground on this podcast moving from a pretty understandable topic that life is complex and we all need to make our own individual decisions based on our understanding of the current situation to finishing off trying to figure out how or if God cares about our intentions.

Phil is out on this video, so Mom stepped up and gave her opinion of our ideas. We talked about quite a bit, including how she raised her kids, the experiences and thoughts she had about what she wanted to teach her kids. Her Chirstian point of view and Ideas on Faith were put forth. It was a fun and interesting discussion with a different point of view.
