Business is Great but for how Long?. Jon reviews the latest information relative to how the visitor industry has performed over the last few months, continuing positive trends since the spring break. He reviews HTA and other industry related reports, all indicating how well the industry has fared when compared to last year, 2020 and also against the previous best year, 2019. He also discusses concerns from the local community as visitor arrivals exceed expectations and residents express concerns about overcrowding, increased traffic and crowded restaurants. We have to balance those concerns and challenges with the fact that visitor arrivals are nearly equal to, and in some destinations, higher 2019. Managing the expectations of our visitors and improving the communication with our local resident communities are very important as we move forward.
