Third arrest made in connection with 2023 shooting death of teen in North Philly
Philadelphia police have made a third arrest in the shooting death of teenage boy two years ago in North Philly.
20-year-old Zaakir McClendon was taken into custody yesterday at a home along the 5700 block of Torresdale Avenue, near Cheltenham Avenue.
He faces murder and guns charges in the killing of Nafis Betrand-Hill, a 16-year-old gunned down at 23rd and Montgomery Avenue in April of 2023.
