Che Arthur has spent the last 20 years as Front of House engineer for many bands like Silver Sun Pickups and This Will Destroy You while also fronting his own band Pink Avalanche and earlier with AtomBobPocketKnife. Here, Che reflects candidly on his childhood growing up in Alabama, on his current state of mind and on the state of the state. 

Stand-up comedian / actor Aaron Kleiber raps about his early troubled years in Pittsburgh before finding his path in comedy but not before spending college and the years after as a youth leader for his church. Aaron gives us direct insight into his rise as an indie filmmaker and as a comic touring with names like Bert Kreischer, Bob Saget, Jim Breuer, Harlan Williams and Steve-O. 

Drummer Tim Dow reflects candidly and hilariously about his time in Shiner, Year of The Rabbit, and Season To Risk, his habit of quitting bands just as things start to happen, how his long-running relationships with Jason Blackmore and Jason Gerken have shaped him and helped over the years, and how exactly to completely destroy me with laughter. it's a good one. 

Shiner guitarist Josh Newton joins the sandbox during International Shiner Month* (*not a real month) for some random conversations about such things as Minsky's Pizza in KC, never loving the Replacements or REM, Joe Perry's amp stacks, edibles in the age of CV, and why he will wait out the virus instead of changing careers. 

Shiner producer and bassist Paul Malinowski walks us briskly through his life as a live and studio engineer at his studio in KC, Massive Studios. He opines on why the Bee Gees inspired him as a kid, why the KC sound of the 90's evolved the proggy way it did and what his life was like as his band Season To Risk was signed to Sony Music, and how his tenure with S2R came to an end while a new life began with Shiner in '96. 

Drummist Jason Gerken spills hot glue everywhere about the new Shiner record Schadenfreude, the indirect influence of his father's drumming through osmosis into his fractured family, his time with KC godfathers Molly McGuire, Gunfighter, Steve Burns, The Birth Defects and for a brief time HUM, and then candidly answers some TGS listeners email queries. It's a hot one.

Musician/Filmmaker Matt Dunehoo spills the 40oz about his new debut feature-length film Wretch, his time writing songs and touring with Doris Henson and now Slights, and how he has successfully navigated his sometimes torturous relationship with his worst critic, himself. 

Drummer Ian Prince raps with Allen Epley about their new band BirdHands, how he almost blew the audition with his new gig Soul Asylum, and how his time with his bands Houston, Story of the Sea and now Porcupine have shaped him, for better and worse.
