This week's drink is a Mint Julep
Ingredients -
8 mint leaves

1/4 ounce simple syrup

2 ounces bourbon

Garnish: mint sprig

Garnish: Angostura bitters (optional)
Steps -
In a Julep cup or rocks glass, lightly muddle the mint leaves in the simple syrup.

Add the bourbon then pack the glass tightly with crushed ice.

Stir until the cup is frosted on the outside.

Top with more crushed ice to form an ice dome, and garnish with a mint sprig and a few drops of bitters (optional).

• 2 ounces Irish whiskey
• 1/2 ounce St-Germain or elderflower liqueur
• 3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
• 3/4 ounce simple syrup
• Garnish: cucumber slice, lemon
Muddle cucumber in shaker with simple syrup
Add whiskey and st. germain
wet shake
fine strain into coupe or rocks glass

The White Salamander #1
- 1.5 oz silver rum
- 1 oz coconut water
- 1 oz coconut water syrup*
- 0.5 oz lime juice
- 0.5 oz pineapple juice
- 2 drops of Mormon tears
*Coconut Water Syrup Recipe
- 1 cup of coconut water
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 6-8 whole cloves
Combine ingredients in small pot and stir while bringing to a boil. Once it boils, remove from heat and let the ingredients steep and cool for 30 minutes. Strain the cinnamon and cloves and store liquid in a covered container.
The White Salamander #2
1 oz Coconut milk syrup
1/2 oz coconut water
Simple syrup to taste
3/4 oz Lime juice
1-2 oz white rum
Optional coconut extract for taste
Wet shake and fine strain into coupe or nick and Nora glass
Mint leaf or lime peel garnish

Pisco Sour Recipe
2 Ounces Pisco
1 Ounce Simple Syrup
3/4 Ounce Key Lime Juice
1 Large Egg White
2-3 Dashes Angostura Bitters
Separate egg white and add ingredients to Boston shaker. No Ice. Start with dry shake to froth. Add 3-4 ice cubes and shake again for 20 seconds. Strain and pour into coupe or glass of your choice. Garnish with drops of bitter, or cinnamon.
