This week, Adam and Davis go over James 1 as part of our new “Refiner” series.

Some of the things we talk about:

- Different versions say “pure joy” in verse 2.

- Failing to understand the trial runs the risk of growing through the trial.

- God has approved the trials you are in.

- If you tap out too early, you don’t learn and grow in the areas God has intended for you.

- You aren’t in the trials alone. The refiner is there watching over you.

- In the trials, go to God for wisdom but remember to use the wisdom he’s giving you.

- Davis mentioned three types of people but Adam has a fourth group. Those that are ignoring the trials.
