Every January, we tell ourselves the same lies: “This will be my best year.” “New year, new me.” But if nothing actually changes, the year doesn’t change either.
In this video, I’m breaking down the quiet lies we repeat at the start of every year and why motivation alone isn’t enough to make 2026 better than 2025. Growth requires honesty, intention, and uncomfortable action, not slogans.
If you’ve ever felt stuck repeating the same patterns year after year, this video is for you. This isn’t about pressure or perfection — it’s about telling yourself the truth and doing something different with it.

In today’s video, I respond to Michelle Obama’s recent comments about Black people feeling pressured to straighten their hair to fit white beauty standards.
While that pressure has definitely existed historically, I believe Michelle Obama’s take misses a major part of the conversation.
For decades, many Black women have developed an adversarial relationship with their natural hair — not only because of outside expectations, but often because of criticism from within our own community.
From being told natural hair is “unprofessional” to being teased for texture, shrinkage, or “kitchen” hair, a lot of the pressure to straighten our hair comes from Black people, not white people.
In this video, I break down why I think Michelle Obama “got it wrong,” why so many Black women struggle with their hair identity, and how our community plays a bigger role in shaping beauty standards than we sometimes admit.
This is an honest conversation about natural hair, internalized bias, and the cultural expectations Black women still navigate today.

What if I told you some of the most expensive areas in the country—DC, Maryland, and Virginia—are hiding a grimy secret behind closed doors? 🐀🪳
Tenants across the DMV are dealing with rats the size of kittens, roaches that scatter like glitter, ceilings leaking brown mystery water, and landlords who pretend everything is “normal.” Spoiler: it’s NOT.
And the wildest part? TikTok blew this whole thing WIDE open.
Creators are dropping viral videos showing infestations, collapsing walls, and “luxury” apartments that look more like survival training camps. These clips are forcing the public—and local officials—to confront conditions that tenants say they’ve been ignored about for YEARS.
This isn’t just drama. It’s a full-on housing nightmare unfolding in one of the wealthiest regions in the country… and renters are DONE staying quiet.
If you’ve ever dealt with slumlords, outrageous rent for terrible conditions, or just love seeing social media spark real change—this video is for you.
Hit LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and COMMENT on your worst rental horror story.

Jamaicans aren’t holding back — and Black Americans are feeling the heat. After a major hurricane, social media exploded when some Black Americans started complaining about the aftermath. But Jamaicans had zero sympathy, calling out what they see as entitlement, weakness, and a disconnect from real struggle.
In this video, we break down the viral reactions, the cultural clash between Caribbean toughness and American comfort, and what this says about Black unity, resilience, and perspective. 🌪️🇯🇲🇺🇸
👉 Watch till the end — you won’t believe how deep this debate goes.
