Well, well, well... A bonus episode in time for the 2019 Academy Awards.
This is quite possibly the most star-studded, guest-laden episodes to date folks! Your lovely hosts Mike and Gerrit are joined by the equally lovely Mike Cronin to chat about the new horror/comedy "Happy Death Day 2U," a sequel to the 2017 sleeper hit, aptly named "Happy Death Day."
It's time for another animated film! Gerrit and Mike see the second Lego Movie starring the voices of Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett and many, many more. 5 years after the events of the first film, The Second Part explores this ever-expanding universe... but this leads to the age-old question - is it any good?
In the race to watch all of the Best Picture Academy Award contenders, this week Mike and Gerrit tackle Alfonso Cuarón's latest picture, "Roma." It's black-and-white, it's bleak, and it's deep - but is it good? Lead actress Yalitza Aparicio plays Cleo, the personal maid to a family in 1970's Mexico City. She was Oscar nominated for Best Actress, but did she deserve the nomination?
Once again, the boys see a movie. This go 'round, it's Yorgos Lanthimos' new film about loyalty, betrayal, favoritism (obviously), and rabbits... or bunnies... regardless...

In this episode, Mike and Gerrit examine the final entry in M. Night Shyamalan's "superhero" trilogy. Is the episode good? Yes. Is the movie good? You'll just have to listen to find out.
As always - thanks for listening!
Welcome to the first bonus episode of This Better Be Good! Gerrit & Mike chat about the 2019 Oscar race. What was nominated? What wasn't that should have been? Take a listen to find out. It's a good, fun episode and you won't be disappointed in the boys' rants, raves and ridiculousness. As always, follow and subscribe to the podcast on all podcast platforms. Tweet, message, share, etc.
Once again, Gerrit and Mike get together to review a movie for your pleasure. This go-round, it's the Viggo Mortensen & Mahershala Ali vehicle "Green Book," where they... take a vehicle to travel through the deep south. It's a racially charged film directed by Peter Farrelly, but is it good? Are the performances powerful enough to make a great film? Can Mr. Farrelly do anything without his brother, Bobby? Take a listen and find out. Fill the boys in on what you thought with any questions, concerns, or comments by subscribing, liking, commenting and by reaching out on the social medias here:
