He discusses how his father Elombe Brath and uncle Kwame Brathwaite formed AJASS (African Jazz Art Society & Studio ) and The Grandassa Models to break barriers to showcase the natural beauty of black women, a movement that went beyond America's standard of beauty but reached international traction as well.

Briana Brake of Space Way Brewing in Rocky Mount, NC and Alisa Bowens- Mercado of Rhythm Brewing in Connecticut.  We discuss their paths and their passions that lead them into this male-dominated industry. 

This week I FINALLY caught up with all of the gentlemen from the Brewsing Banter Podcast. We talk about beer, deep topics and as usual, we talk shit. 

This week's episode was the first live stream for This Chick Talks Beer. Shouts out to BlackBeerChick and KinkySudz for being amazing panelists as we dive into what many consider to be a taboo topic. 

In this episode I am joined by Gary Crawford, we talk about Harlem and SpaceWay Brewing and then dive into the importance of black women not dismissing the mental health of black men.
