RESILIENT is a unique episode as we are live in person at the San Bernardino Diocese Office for Young Catholics Summer Event.
Our guest for this episode are some of the people who came to the event.  Resilient was an evening of Prayer and Worship gathering young adults 18+ at the St. Junipero Serra Formation House.  It is the first of many of these events we are expecting this large diocese to have.  This evening included confession and adoration led by his excellency Bishop Rojas himself.  Listen to our banter and listen to some of the insight and advise of those who came on the show with us. Worship music  @spero_worship  & @chrisestrella music ministry.
With my co-hosts this episode, Tony and Bethany you can tell we had a great time.
Shoutout to Edgardo Juarez, Director of the Ministry for Young Catholics, SBD for putting together this event.

STEEP, like steeping tea, extracting flavors or stories.
Our guest for this episode is Archie, former youth minister at St. Catherine in Riverside California for 11 years. One of the most dynamic ministers I had ever watched while doing ministries. Talented, gifted and rich in faith and then he stopped being a YM.  So what happened, where did he go and where is he now? Listen to Archie as he lays down some wisdom and his stories of ministry and his current projects such as Spero Worship that is a giving space for young people who are seeking God and his love.

On the show this week, I am joined by our shows producer Tony Pimentel who is a paid youth minister et. al in the Diocese of San Bernardino.  We talk about and discuss the answer to poll questions I posted on our Instagram account @catholic.dad about Volunteer vs Paid Staff Youth Ministers.  As usual its always a fun chat with Tony and I but in all seriousness we spoke on the challenges of being a on staff YM vs a Volunteer YM.  I think we share a bit on the pro's a con's of each and had a good cup of coffee together.  We hope you enjoy the show.
Listen to some of our bloopers at the end. yikes!

In this Episode, Catholic.dad reads what listerners have said about their moms.  This belated Happy Mother's day episode just celebrates the moms.  Recorded during the live This Connected Update Episode (TCU) on May 7, 2021 with special guest David and Vanessa.  Enjoy the cringe!

Episode 86:  BACK IN THE HABIT!

On this weeks episode, Catholic.dad and producer Tony finally gets back together in person to record the Bro-niversary Episode.  It has been one year since they have met and also since the Pandemic Lock down.  This episode is just fun, where they talk about where they have seen change, habits that have been positive and negative in their personal lives.  We hear about first impression they had of each other and a lot of joking around and Dad Jokes.
So for this episode, kick back and relax and maybe even laugh.
