Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for all of you out there listening today. The Sixers played with some energy but came up short in overtime last night. The Flyers fared better beating the Predators 3-2 in OT after tying it with 12 seconds left in regulation. Slay and Smitty didn't practice yesterday as they're trying to get healthy for Sunday.

Today we are thankful for Philly Sports History.

On this day in 1940 the Eagles beat the Steelers 7-0 on Thanksgiving when Dick Riffle scored from 17 yards out in the 4th quarter. The win was the Eagles only win of the season. Overall they have a 6-1 record on Thanksgiving.

It's Tuesday so time for a little motivation/positivity. The Flyers stood toe to toe with the Golden Knights but lost 5-4 in a shootout. We put a bow on the Eagles/Rams games and start looking ahead to Baltimore.

It's a victory Monday. For the 7th straight week we are celebrating a Birds victory. This time the handled the Rams 37-20. Saquon Barkley literally ran wild setting an Eagles record for rushing yards and total yards from scrimmage. BG suffered likely a season and possibly career ending injury late when he tore his triceps. The Sixers stink and the Flyers are in action against the Golden Knights tonight.

On this day in 2007 the Eagles went to Foxboro as 24.5 point underdogs with a backup QB and almost handed the Patriots their first loss of the season losing 31-28. AJ Feely's play sparked a mini QB controversary over the next week.

On this day in in 1920 the Phillies recieved Greasy Neale in a trade with the Reds. Neale is better known for coaching the Eagles to 2 NFL Championships in the 40s. He is one of if not the only person to win both a World Series and an NFL Championship.

Tyrese Maxey was back, Jo scored 35 but PG hyperextended his knee again and the Sixers couldn't overcome a hot shooting effort by the Grizzlies. The Flyers got beat by the Hurricanes 4-1. Bryce Huff is having surgery on his wrist and Zack Wheeler placed 2nd once again in Cy Young voting.
