What did the brown cow say to the brown chicken? You'll have to listen for that answer but...this is one of my favorite podcasts ever! What a joy to be able to sit and chat with this amazing couple. Sammy identifies as an Enneagram type 7 and Thomas as a type 4. What's the difference between and Enneagram 4 and 7? That might be an obvious answer at first glance but those assumptions are often just that...assumptions. Are all 7s outgoing? Are all 4's withdrawn? The answer is - of course not. In fact, upon first meeting Thomas he disclosed that he was a type 4 and my first reaction was "How can that be? You're so outgoing and funny!" 

Tommy and Sammie share the magic and mystery of this unique relationship combination and describe how each helps the other navigate the peaks and valleys of life and the broad range of emotions that arise in any marriage.  As the parents of five children ranging in age from 6-17 they firmly agree that the Enneagram has given language to the way each child operates which has truly brought a new way of communicating.
