Remembering names and facts is a struggle for everyone sometimes, even more so for me. These are strategies I use to cue up a mental image tying a face to a name, maybe they'll work for you

I'm not bored, rude or being difficult when I resist social situations or step away to take a break. Maybe it's my introvert nature or maybe it's my TBI or maybe it's a little of both?

These are the most helpful things said or done for me since my brain injury.

Don't be that person. These are the most annoying things said to people living with brain injuries. Annoying and damaging to our self esteem. So, listen, learn and just don't be that person.

Look up spoon theory on wikipedia. For people like me, living with a TBI, a holiday weekend especially during covid with everyone partying can lead to a flooding event. I'll share what this is like, how you can mimic it to understand and maybe be mindful for those around you.
