This Hour Has 5 Stars

This is the benchmark.  The one that all others will be judged.  We all remember this as THE match growing up but does it still live up to all the hype?

This is a bit of a long one so grab some popcorn and settle in.  The last version of this match was somehow lost to the audio demons so this is the re-recording of that.  Nobody really remembers anything but somehow we manage to make this thing go over an hour.  There is singing, probably some dancing and an all around good time this month.

Cox Blockin Beats

We recorded our latest podcast on Monday night (Ric Flair v Barry Windham from February 14, 1986), but something went wrong and the audio is likely unsalvageable. We will record again, but for this month we are providing you with a little something different. We put this mixtape together about 4 years ago for the Godd Till’s Time Machine podcast but never ended up posting it.

We present you with the ultimate marriage of the two finest artforms ever conceived: pro wrestling and rap. The Aptermath.

Another match from Japan as Tiger Mask takes on Kobyashi.... but maybe more exciting is that there is something afoul in the workplace.  Listen as the guys try to solve the case.

One of the greatest feuds of the 80's comes to a head in this brawl between the two hottest teams in Texas.  Listen as the boys discuss this match, the sad destiny of both of the teams and for those who are just in it for some hockey talk..Stay tuned after the credits for a little taste.

Join us as we discuss another interesting MOTY.  At some point, these have to get good right??  Also see a small glimpse into the past days of Godd Till in private school.

Finally the boys get to watch a match that they actually enjoy.. HEar about the legend of Tiger Mask and the even sadder legend of Dynamite Kid.

The year is 1981 and apparently the wrestling scene was pretty terrible if this is match of the year.  Tune in as the gang discuss the Patterson, Slaughter, some indie talk and more.

The boys are back and this time with a focus and a purpose.  Listen to the new format where we discuss the first Wrestlng Observer match of the year... Ken Patera vs Bob Backlund.
