The thread that moves through all that information is that we are one. The big thing that comes through is kindness, both to each other and our environment, that will pull us through.
• Kiran Addala: My take regards volunteering. I started volunteering when I moved to the UK in 2002 at Age Concern. It was fascinating and there were lots of stories I took from their life experiences & advice; I’ve been volunteering for the last 20 years now.
• Chantal Francisco: Being in a position of second place provides great leverage in making the world a better place. When we take a subservient or supportive role, or being a volunteer, it creates a better world by providing more people with the same mindset empowering other people. It multiplies and creates a better place for everybody.
• Kristin Johnson: For me it’s remembering being read to by my mother, and being read Greek mythology by my grandfather; listening to all of his nature lore and understanding that we too have a rich history and connection to nature, this planet & our ancestors. We should realise that stories are all around us, not just ours or those of great and powerful people, but those of everyday people and unsung heroes.

• 32,000 companies employ 10-330 in a 150-mile radius of St. Louis. These account for 49% of the entire workforce, but 2/3 of those companies are declining. What does that mean for the opportunities for all the employees in those companies? 70% of the business owners were at or past natural retirement age. The story that tells for the future is not that bright unless we do a much better job helping these business owners.
• I could feel the people’s pain that we worked with & their frustration with miscommunication, it should be easier. After a long time looking, we saw that if it was to be done, it would have to be done by me. We built an organisation where we put all the service providers under one roof that the clients (and my widow) would need.

• A lot of people care greatly about things that are irrelevant, like what other people think about them or what’s true or real. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter, these are just things that are being used to divide & distract us, to get us out of living in our power in the moment.

On this episode of the World Game-Changers podcast Paul continues the mini-series based around the second greatest story ever told. This time he talks to Gary Clarke & Gary Harris about football & whether or not it’s still the beautiful game?

• Sheffield United fans told me recently that they hate being in the Premier League now, you can get tickets anymore. It’s great for the first year, being able to visit the grounds of the famous teams & being able to take their kids, but it’s just got worse & worse this year. I only go because my boy still wants to go. It’s all about money, they don’t care about the fans.
• The leagues are too top heavy financially, with loads more money at the top end and hardly any in the lower end. Clubs have been asking to be relegated in the non-league which highlights the lack of money even though they had their best ever season, finishing 6th, they can’t maintain or upgrade their ground. Where one player’s weeks’ wages from Man Utd could have saved that club.
• I don’t think it’s possible to get the game back, as we knew it. There’s far too much money in there. The only think we might see is a separation where the big clubs go off into some kind of European league & reformat the English Football League. I can’t see any other way of balancing it out.
• One of the nails in the coffin was introducing all-seater stadiums as a must in the top leagues & on top of that introduced allocated seating, Rather than the fans getting in there early together to have a knees-up & create an atmosphere, now everyone’s split up around the ground which is hard to get an atmosphere going.

That’s only a very tiny part of being a human being. The greater part is that we’re divine, very powerful beings that can create almost anything out of thin air.
