This is 65 The Podcast

This is it. This is the last episode. On this very special episode, Bekah and Jonathan make the long drive up to Vermont to visit their old friend Chris and his soon-to-be wife Brit. Our heroes take a look back at the podcast; what went right, what went wrong, and what they learned along the way. Sketchy, the sketch comedy robot, also comes back to introduce 6 final sketches for the show.

But every door closing opens another or something.

This is 65 the Podcast might be over, but you can still listen to our other shows Seedy Reads and Movie Club, both of which have new episodes coming out this year!

AND keep an eye out for 2 more new shows: Below Grade Level, which picks up where we left off reading children’s books, and The Sketchy Show, which brings you even more improv sketch comedy!

On this special, URGENT episode of This is 65 the Podcast returning guest Jordan Clark joins Jonathan and Bekah to talk about his awesome Kickstarter for the comic Elk Mountain, a 64 page graphic novel about an immigrant superhero and the small town they defend, as well as how fear can tear communities apart.

Back the Kickstarter here and help Jordan get the book off the ground!

Check out Elk Mountain on Facebook to stay up to date!

On this episode our heroes Jonathan, Chris, and Bekah don’t talk about Avengers: Infinity War because Chris hasn’t seen it yet, so no spoilers. Also, they get deep into E3 2018 speculation and figure out which of their favorite video games they would like remade!

In this very special episode, Jonathan, Bekah, and Chris are joined by a very special guest, a ghost from the past! The gang takes an introspective look back on the first 100 episodes of the show and guesses what will happen in the next 100. Just kidding, they don’t do that at all.

It’s the start of a new year and our heroes Chris and Jonathan sit down to talk about Nintendo Switch and Playstation VR! Bekah couldn’t make it to this one, unfortunately, so the guys just blather on about video games for 45 minutes.

After a lengthy hiatus our heroes are back with a new episode! Chris joins Jonathan and Bekah all the way from Vermont via Skype! It’s the first time we try this, so there are some technical difficulties with the audio syncing, but we’re trying! Also, the gang reads some more of R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps book “Let’s Get Invisible”, which so far is basically the only thing anyone’s doing in that book!

After a lengthy hiatus we’re back! In this episode our heroes are joined once again by Brit Smick to talk about buying houses, moving, painting, and other stuff! This episode was recorded quite a while ago so everything we say may be irrelevant by now. Plus, more of R.L. Stine’s “Let’s Get Invisible!” AND JOCK SNIPS!

On this episode our heroes welcome Mike Riley of itastesound.com to talk about dicks, comics, inspiration for comics, and his brand new kickstarter, which you can find here, and pledge goddamn you!! Then, we read some more of R.L Stine’s Goosebumps book “Let’s Get Invisible!”

Our heroes gather to talk about the movie XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, for some reason. Also, horoscopes, pet names, and Chris is moving to Vermont! Then, it’s more Goosebumps, “Let’s Get Invisible!” Also, Vin Diesel goes on a morning radio talk show!

Parker Hicks joins Jonathan, Chris, and Bekah for a whirlwind episode talking about games, roleplaying, and the like! Then, Brit Smick joings our heroes as Parker leads us on a magical game of Dungeons and Dragons where we all fight for a sword! Also, Josh the stockboy becomes president!
