Let's be honest with ourselves and God when it comes to our sin. When we blame others were not taking responsibility for our sin. Resulting in our not asking the Father to forgive us and missing out on opportunities to be honest, to grow and mature.

Sometimes we hear things from Christians and it stops us in our tracks. They don't sound like something we've ever read in the bible. We have to wonder if the person believes what their saying. Where do people come up with these ideas? False teachers, or is it things they just want to believe are true? I want to encourage you to remind yourself often who we represent. It's not just ourselves but more importantly our Savior. Sometimes we need to be reminded to pull our shoulders back and lift our heads up and smile. Let's be grateful for all the tough seasons God has brought us through. We are still here and for a good reason. We didn't get through anything on our own. Why would any unbeliever be interested in a Christianity where people are sad, and angry and unhappy. Let people see Jesus in us. Often our actions speak louder than our words.

As Christians we want to engage our mature senior Christians. They can offer so much to our younger brothers and sisters. They may not always want to take part in church activities. They have spent years serving and may be tired and often frail. We can find ways to bring them back to actively engaging in church life. Mentoring younger couples, or young people. We can visit them in their homes, at retirement residences or take them out for coffee. We want to be used by God and serve our brothers and sisters until it's time to go home.

God created mankind, one race with many ethnicities. The diversity began in Genesis and all of these ethnic groups, outside of the people of Israel would make up the Gentiles that would later be grafted into the vine. God created us all in His image and Christianity is for every tribe and nation.

Jesus commanded us to go into the world and make disciples of all men. And if we believe in Jesus who we profess to love and have accepted as our Lord, shouldn't we be compelled to share Him with everyone? Why would we want to keep our faith from anyone most especially those who are unsaved. The evidence of our faith is a transformed life. If we have been transformed by the Holy Spirit our new self should be evident to all. Not kept to ourselves.

Should Pastors repent publicly? Pastors have a higher standard of criticism. The details do not need to be known but the sin does. The church has been robbed of the opportunity to deal with the sin and prevent this type of sin from growing in the congregation - 1 Timothy 5:19. Too many leaders are not repenting in accordance to scripture and too many churches don't know how to work through repentance to restoration.
