This fall, 15 UW-Madison first year students are taking a group of classes focused on Indigenous education, language, and foodways. Through walking field trips and hands-on learning, they are introduced to the Ho-Chunk land they are now living on. Today, instructor Daniel Cornelius joins us to talk about the class “Land Education.”

Daniel Cornelius is an Outreach Specialist with Great Lakes Indigenous Law Center and a member of Oneida Nations of Wisconsin. He teaches Land Education with Claire Luby.
