This is Lee

This week I talk about surprising my 98 year old Aunt on her birthday, what staying with my dad has been like, and why I avoid confrontation at all costs.

Enjoy!

Thank you so much for one year of What Was I Thinking! This week I am thrilled to have Vilma Selage as my guest. Vilma is a Marine who served in Afghanistan. We talk about boot camp, working through what she went through in Afghanistan, and much more. Vilma is also currently going to school to be a sign language interpreter and is one of the nicest people I know. Check out her podcast, "Life of a Veteran" anywhere you listen to or watch podcasts. Sorry for the delayed episode, I was sick last week and just got back to the office. This is a quick episode for me to say hi and chat about sick days and just goof off a little bit. Back to the regularly scheduled programming next week.

Love you all,

Lee

It is very easy to get negative about the world and the people in it. I tend to have a problem with always thinking the worst case scenario is going to happen. Author W. Clement Stone described himself as inverse paranoid. Meaning instead of believing, like me, that the world was out to get him, he thought that the world was out to help him. In the spirit of that I decided to tell you about 2 groups of people and one individual who helped me when they didn't need to and made my life better. I hope you enjoy it.

This podcast has a little bit of everything. I talk about the Jewish New year, why some things are better alone, and why we should live our lives more like kids.

Life doesn't always go to plan. Anyone can be grateful for the good times. In this episode I talk about things that I am grateful for that I never expected to be.

I react to the final episode of The Church of What's Happening Now podcast a year after it aired. I react to what I said and thought at the time and what I would tell myself back then if I knew how the last year would unfold. I also give the backstory of the infamous Pauly Shore episode.

Lucas Hirl is a comedian and co - host of the What's the Odds podcast. I met Lucas at The Comedy Store but got really close to him doing shows with Steve Simeone in Phoenix. While we were there he told me he used to produce video games and I couldn't wait to hear more. He produced games like Fallout: New Vegas, Skyrim, Halo and more!

Brody Stevens was a comedian, actor and podcaster. Brody was one of the nicest people I met in Los Angeles and was always someone I was happy to see. Brody was important to and loved by many comedians and comedy fans around the world. Two people who loved Brody, Tommy Godlove and Mauricio Alvarado worked with the city of Los Angeles to honor Brody's memory. There is the Brody Stevens memorial bench in Reseda, CA and as of 8/18/21 August 18th is officially Brody Stevens Day in Los Angeles. I give my thoughts on Brody and his day.
