On today's show ImmersivEye's Steve Moyler talks about how he started as a traditional graphic designer and now works at the cutting edge of broadcast technology. A journey via sandwich shop advertising, City Life, major commercials with McCann and now directing virtual productions with a tablet and Unreal Engine.
But ultimately he says, everything's about producing content that brings an emotive response.
Sometimes it just takes a lucky break, albeit backed by hard graft and when company like Microsoft spots your work on Vimeo and it lands you a TV commercial, you can't ask for much more.
You'd think that once you'd started working with blue-chip brands at major agencies you'd be able to sit back, but actually Steve is now onto his next challenge and this is more about collaboration and bringing together like minded creative companies across MediaCity to see how far you can push creativity.
