In celebration of those who are partaking (or aren't, I guess) in a first-of-the-year tradition known as "Dry January," we take some time this week to see what life would be like it our wills weren't as strong but our persuasions were true. Eric and Perry (me, that's me) drink through plenty of non-alcohol spirits, including Budweiser Zero, a red blend from New Zealand, a TERRIBLE rum alternative, and some of the worst "whiskeys" that we've ever tried to suffer through in our lives. We've got yet another new product coming our way from the illustrious Jim Beam Distillery, folks, and this time around, it's a rye whiskey. This rye is a part of the Overholt line, replicating the mash bill made famous by the Monongahela style in Pennsylvania and eventually acquired along with the Overholt brand by Beam. We also take a look at the available Overholt products on the market in a flight lineup to see how the Monongahela measures up to its siblings. Enjoy.
