In this episode, we are addressing the Law Suit, filed on Tuesday January 12th. 2021, on behalf of disgruntled Uber, Lyft, and Gig Economy workers. These Drivers have partnered with Labor Unions and other groups, that are trying to Over-Turn the Voice Of The People, and saying that the voice of the people do not matter. The Law Suit has usurped the legal process, in it's bringing, by side-stepping the Lower Courts and having the Suit filed directly into the Supreme Courts, on the Basis of Constitutionality, stating that voice of the people of California do not matter, and that the adoption of Proposition 22, should instead have been made an Amendment to the State's Constitution, and not being brought before the people for their voices to be heard on the matter.

When Are You Too Old To Drive? Well this is a question that has been presented to me, over several times in my life, when I had to participate in a situation with my Former Wife's family when I was much younger, as well as just a couple of years ago. This is a discussion, that hopefully will help reframe the conversation, with an Elder or a Disabled person in your life. It is a discussion of the lessons I have learned when discussion was centered about a Family member needing to surrender their Driving Privileges to Drive from being a "Loss of Driving Privileges," to a "Change Of Lifestyle." It can also be used a the "Ice Breaker" in your discussion with your family as well. Please listen and if you find it useful, download the episode for your family to listen to as well. I look forward and encourage your Feedback, Comments and questions. You can submit correspondence to me at: [email protected]. I will try to get back to you, and know that I may be using your questions on a future podcast; if you will allow me to do so. Thank You for Visiting my Podcast. I very much look forward to your returning; and hopefully to a better episodes as well, as we build and learn more about broadcasting on this platform of Podcasting.
I have started a new series, where I am answering questions that I have been asked to answer, on different platforms, regarding working with/for Uber and Lyft within the "Gig Economy" setting. I am sharing my experiences and opinions that I have on many questions, and that is the basis of this series. I have worked for over a year with these platforms and as a Driver for these companies. I discuss the new California Law Carve Out, that passed this November, called "Proposition 22" and other matters as well.
These questions are based on my experiences in working in the State of California, and some of this content does not reflect other States or the situations that Driver for these companies may be experiencing nationwide, in other States and areas of the Uber/Lyft Markets. However, there are some areas of discussion, where I do venture out and include minimal information regarding other States and areas.
I have no Corporate investments, or affiliations, with Uber and Lyft, other than being a Driver that works on their platforms. I am not a representative, Agent, or in any way working or contracted with these companies as a Corporate Officer; although from time to time, I have done commercial ad(s) work and other promotional works for them. My opinions do not speak on behalf of these companies, in any way shape or form and not necessarily the opinion or standing within the context of this podcast or series
