Hey it’s your definitely not biweekly episode and your commish says get off my back, this is work. Of course I finished recording and immediately there are injury/not playing news in that ATL/NYJ game in London, alas, such is fantasy football life when it comes to podcasts. Yes, it’s time to panic, and trade season should enter it’s full swing as we enter the quarter mark of the season.

The commissioner returns to his inconsistent schedule with the podcast, but returns nonetheless. Justin Fields show, or Myles Garrett feast? Panic about Kamara, Barkley, & Allen? Kyler Murray continues to light it up, Derrick Henry bounces back, and more.

It’s the 2021 season preview episode! This Is Not a Fantasy Football Podcast returns with your commissioner, one Danny M, and reigning champion, Ryan G. Bold NFL and Fantasy predictions, some FFAC league matchup pick’em, and a lot of Ryan gloating. Also lots of Matt Stafford talk. We’re back, let’s play some football, fam.

Cody, the #1 seed, joins this week to tell us that we’re all fools with our fantasy strategies, and the path to enlightenment. (Commissioner’s disclaimer: Do not listen to Cody, 3rd fewest point total is not sustainable).

6 weeks in and the vast majority of the league is within 80 points of each other, and the standings sort of reflect that beyond some unfortunate matchups. Stefan and Danny talk about the chances everyone still have, and the few Kelly & Jason have.

Get it? N*Sync’s Bye Bye Bye because Week 6 is bringing us a lot of Bye weeks? Anyways, Week 5 brought us even MORE injuries, but Cody & Stefan join to talk about their good fortune thus far. Seems like most of us are still in it, but this could prove to be a pivotal week.

So we’re starting to see some real effects of COVID-19 and the poor handling of league protocols (or lack thereof) on various teams. What does this mean for fantasy? Is the season really in jeopardy? Jay and I discuss this week.

Injuries suck. The amount of injuries Week 2 handed us? Can say nothing else besides, pain. Also it’s a commissioner solo episode.
