Its the Apocalypse episode! Every show has one, right? We talk about the end, the end of certain versions of the world, and our own end of the social media world. In this episode we trash talk social media, and talk about what we love about it. (Ain't that funny?)

John and Linnea both made art and they chatted about it.

We explore the question, what would you do if the world ended tomorrow? Spoiler alert, John has a party. And White Lightning gets a serious make over!

In this episode John and Linnea get curious and talk about curiosity.

John enthuses about his most recent rabbit hole, of gardening. John is lucky enough to have a backyard and he has done wonders with it.

Linnea also discusses her hot take on curiosity, how she stays curious, and why its so friggin important.

They take a bit of a turn and shit talk social media, and how much of a waste of time it can be for some people. Linnea discusses how her lack of social media has lead her to discover more things about herself.

In this episode Linnea and John dive into thoughts and concerns on masculinity and men's mental health. Although they are not experts, John was able to enthuse about his ideas on masculinity, and what are some ways that men (but also anyone really) can take care of themselves and their community.

Over the past few years, John has been an excellent role model for modelling healthy masculinity, and being an incredible advocate for mental health. We know that therapy can not be accessible for everyone, John (and Linnea) both return back to the importance of community.

Remember our new years resolution episode, when they got so jazzed about their goals, guess who stuck with it and guess who has let things slide?

John has always been a great example of someone who faces their problems head on, its almost annoying, in this episode we see how beneficial that can be. But in reality, the struggle is real, and in the end, the people who get us through the hard are the real heroes.

So in this episode, John takes the lead and asks about Linnea's current hybrid art show/ fundraiser.

Ok, so it’s been a minute. Many of them. But we are back.

In this episode Linnea and John recap what their lives have been like in the last month(ish).

John went to Portugal, saw his bestie get married and got to reunite with heaps of his army buddies. In his element he was surrounded by those who love and support him. We love this for him.

Throughout the episode he shares about his adventures in rural Portugal and the joy he gets from helping out and making the things around him better.

Linnea shares her experiences of going to Paris. (She ends up finding a gluten free bakery and spends 9 euros on a croissant, silly girl, I hope it was worth it).

Their energy and enthusiasm is contagious in this episode. They enthuse about upcoming projects and possible future collabs.

In this episode John and Linnea do the hard things, and talk about it. John takes the lead on reading out the written questions, and Linnea does her best at not laughing at him.

They talk about when their self-sabotage comes out, and discuss whether there are tell tale signs that it may pop up. They talk about the value of rest, and how sometimes pushing through isn't the answer. (Linnea has not quiet figures that one out yet, but give her time).

Embarrassment comes up, as it always does, a side effect of getting out of your comfort zone. Linnea shares her new trick for helper her feel less embarrassed in various moments. (spoiler alert, it is very much about Fight Club). Shout out to Beaver Boxing in Ottawa for making space for Linnea.
