On July 21, 2023, lawyer/activist Siti Kasim discovered two suspicious objects beneath her car which she suspected were bombs, which were later identified as improvised explosive devices (IED). Since then, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, has come out to say the incident is suspected as attempted murder. We speak with Siti Kasim about this alarming incident, why she has called out politicians for staying silent about the issue, and whether this is an indication of increased extremist behaviour in Malaysia.
